This donor advised fund was established by Kathy Lucey to honor two very special men in her life; her husband, Jack and her brother, Charles Keilholtz, who both were diagnosed with Alzheimer's. This fund is an extension of Kathy's efforts to raise awareness of the disease in our community to erase the stigma of the disease so more seek medical attention, and to also help support the needs of caregivers.

The La Crosse Area Emergency Response Fund was created to rapidly deploy resources to charitable organizations at the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak in the La Crosse area. The fund was established by La Crosse Community Foundation and Great Rivers United Way and is sustained through the generous gifts of community members and businesses.

This fund supports the construction of the new Veterans Freedom Park Recreational Center. The La Crosse Curling Club is building a multipurpose recreational center at Veterans Freedom Park which will be gifted to the city of La Crosse upon completion.

La Crosse SOUP's mission is to promote community-based development through crowdfunding, creativity, collaboration, trust and fun. This is accomplished through quarterly micro-granting soup dinners celebrating and supporting creative projects in La Crosse. For a $5 donation, attendees receive soup, bread and a vote for one of four projects presented. The project with the most votes goes home with all of the money raised to carry out the project. La Crosse SOUP operates under fiscal sponsorship from La Crosse Community Foundation.
|Donate||River Clean Up - La Crosse Fund
The Mississippi River Clean Up-La Crosse event began in 1993 and continues as an opportunity for volunteers to clean up the waterways of the Mississippi River in the La Crosse area. An unpaid team of volunteers coordinates the annual event, which has historically been held on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend. This fund was established to aid in these efforts by providing fiscal sponsorship to the RCU event, leaders, and volunteers. The primary purpose of this fund will be to support the initial purchase and first few years of maintenance of body cameras for area law enforcement organizations in La Crosse County.
